Most of the custom projects
we develop fit into the Rapid Application Development (RAD) model. What
does the model look like? We slim down our typical software development
model (SDM) to accomodate a rapid development schedule. This does not
mean that we cut out vital pieces of the development cycle, just reduce
the time spent on non-production segments such as documention. Our number
one goal is to deliver on-time, on cost, zero-defect software.
Advantages:
- Quicker time to market -
Software can typically be ready for general release within 90 days of
final requirements
- Less documentation - This
allows more time to be directed toward actual coding and not on paperwork
- Less development time =
lower prices on the project
Your company can also realize more benefit by having automation quicker
When we first look at a project,
we will try to fit it into this model to give you the best advantage possible.
If it is too large or not feasible, we will put it into a full life cycle
SDM and project manage it as such. Again, our number one goal is to deliver
on-time, on cost, zero-defect software.
